The mission of Communities In Schools of Caldwell County is to provide a safe nurturing environment where students are connected to community resources and supported to achieve academic success. Each program can be very different at the local level. We operate our program in 3 high schools and 4 middle schools. We have after school program in one high school and three middle schools. We also coordinate services for Hand In Hand and the Lunch Bubby programs in two elementary schools. Our local program has been in operation since 1989. We bring the community to the students within the school by offering academic assistance/role models with our tutor/mentors, career opportunities.
