RANCHO ALEGRE RADIO
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Conjunto music based in Austin, Texas. Rancho Alegre's mission is to preserve and promote Conjunto music, an accordion-driven roots music genre born in south Texas, popular among Mexican-Americans for generations. Its projects include a podcast, a nonprofit record label, digitizing recordings, artist interviews, documenting Tejano and Conjunto music, speaking to schools and universities about Conjunto, helping artists with business resources, and presenting the Rancho Alegre Conjunto Music Festival (RACMF) and other public events throughout the year.
