Last week we held our Spring Sports awards that celebrated 222 student athletes who played or managed a sport, which is more than 88% of the student body, and 5% more than last year. Student athletes played on 9 teams led by 23 coaches. For Independent sports, 17 students participated in ice hockey, gymnastics, dance, martial arts and equestrian. Finally, and most notably, of those 222 spring student athletes, 53 of them are seniors who competed in their final season at Gunston.
