Kennedy King Memorial Initiative would like to congratulate the following awardees for embodying truth, justice and peace: Karrah Herring, Brandon Randall, Don Colvin, and Visit Indy! (fb)

Thank you to everyone who joined us today for the Kennedy King Memorial Initiative’s April 4th Commemoration. This was an experience that reminded us all of the power of leading with love, peace, and purpose. On this sacred ground where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life was honored and Bobby Kennedy’s words helped calm a grieving city, we gathered not just to remember—but to recommit. Their legacies continue to call us to the work of justice, compassion, and unity in our communities. As Dr. King said, “Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” And in Bobby Kennedy’s words, “What we need in the United States is not division...but love and wisdom, and compassion toward one another.” (fb)
