Calling All Filmmakers! 🎥🌊 We're excited to announce an opportunity to create a short film funded by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency as part of the We Are Water MN initiative! We're looking for two non-English language short films that dive into the themes of the Cannon River Watershed, such as water quality, our relationship to place, or other important water, land, or climate health topics. Filmmakers residing in or near the Cannon River Watershed are encouraged to apply. 💰 Up to $15,000 available for production! 🎬 Film Length: 5-10 minutes 🗓️ Proposals Open: Friday, April 4, 2025 🗓️ Proposals Due: Friday, May 16, 2025 Selected films will be showcased at the 9th Downstream Environmental Film Festival in March 2026 across multiple communities in the watershed. We especially welcome films in languages like Spanish, Hmong, Dakota, and Somali, with English subtitles. Don't miss this chance to make your voice heard!
