Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, staff, and friends created the Peace Corps Alumni Foundation for Philippine Development in 1983 as a way to continue their commitment to the social and economic development of the Philippines. PCAFPD provides college scholarships to financially-needy Filipino students, so that they may continue their education and contribute to the development of the Philippines.
