NEF The Northwood Education Foundation HOME ABOUT US PROJECTS SEPTEMBERFEST DONATE More Promoting a Community Partnership in Education WhatWe Do We work with teachers asking what we can do to enhance their student39s experiences going above and beyond what the school can provide. We39ve accomplished that by funding small projects such as music camp tuition and supplies for the science classes and large undertakings such as theelectronic Northwood sign the new playground and the auditorium sound system. We39ve gone lowtech with geology kits and hightech through paying for part of the district39s schoolwide revamping of its computer system and a laser engraver for our TechnologyEducation Department and Fab Lab. We39ve helped support the health and wellness of our students with pedometers and supporting softwarefor physical education classes sports training equipment for our athletes and water bottle filling stations throughout the school.
