It’s a slower pace, a deeper listening. And honestly, it feels like such a gift to share that with you. Chhandayan + Brooklyn Raga Massive are proud to present a rare afternoon raga concert with two incredible artists: Rabindra Narayan Goswami on sitar and Mir Naqibul Islam on tabla. This is pure soul music from Banaras, traditional, moving, and played at the time of day it was meant for. Bonus: Goswami ji was BRM’s very own Neel Murgai’s first teacher! ✨ About the Artists:
Rabindra Goswami has been performing for over 50 years. He’s known in India and around the world for playing pure, heartfelt raga in its most traditional form.
Mir Naqibul Islam is a Brooklyn-based tabla player with deep roots in the Farukhabad style. He brings the tabla into everything—from classical to jazz to hip hop. -Seating Info: Floor seating with back jacks in the main room. Chairs available in side rooms.
