I had the incredible honor of meeting two inspiring young Liberians, Garmai and Ireland, who were recently selected as Mandela Washington Fellows! They will be studying at the University of Delaware for six weeks, alongside 23 other talented fellows from across Africa. Acceptance to this prestigious program is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and vision for a brighter future for Liberia and the continent. A heartfelt thank you to my pastor in the USA, Dr. Stanley Hearst II, and the wonderful Bethel AME Church Wilmington De for hosting a warm welcoming ceremony for the fellows. Special thanks also goes to the U.S. Embassy Monrovia, Liberia, Liberia for facilitating this highly competitive US State Department program. Let's continue to celebrate and support the achievements of our youth. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Africa. #MandelaWashingtonFellowship #proudliberians #AfricanExcellence (fb)

I'm thrilled to have been in Sierra Leone this week to launch YAI's state-of-the-art computer lab at the Romans International Academy! This marked another significant milestone in our mission to empower young people in Liberia and Sierra Leone through education and technology. Being there and witnessing the impact firsthand filled me with immense gratitude and pride. This computer lab isn't just about providing access to technology; it's about opening doors to endless opportunities for the students there. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this journey and look forward to launching the next lab at the World Wide Missions School in Liberia and early May followed by labs at two all-girls schools in Liberia and Sierra Leone. #EducationForAll #EmpowerYouth #SierraLeone 🇸🇱 More information online at: https://youthactioninternational.org/ (fb)
