Bay Area Derby (BAD) is a a non-profit 501(c)(3) and 100% skater owned and operated roller derby league in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our organization runs entirely on the tireless efforts of our volunteers: skaters and non-skaters alike. BAD strives to give back to the community which has supported it since 2004. Our mission is to provide the Bay Area with top-quality amateur roller derby competition, provide women with the opportunity to become roller derby athletes to compete locally, regionally, and internationally, and to foster relationships with our brother and sister grassroots organizations in the Bay Area.
