Targeting Kern County's underserved populations by way of food access, community outreach and nutritional education. Partnered with Bakersfield Recovery Services to provide therapeutic healing through our Grace Street Garden. A strong partnership through Community Action Partnership of Kern and Bakersfield Recovery Services has allowed for us to be a steady food access site for thousands of people. We have helped distribute over 200,000 lbs of food to our community.
