We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides immigration and criminal defense services for hard-working immigrant families. SJC is a 501(c)(3) legal aid nonprofit providing deportation defense services to low income noncitiz SJC’s mission is to ensure that low-income immigrants, asylum seekers, unaccompanied children, young dreamers, and displaced families are provided with direct legal services and high-quality legal representation in court at little to no cost.

Our community is grieving after last week’s Canal Street fire in San Rafael, where lives were lost and families lost everything in an instant. Together, City of San Rafael - Government , Marin County Government , and our partner Canal Alliance have coordinated the response ensuring families have shelter, food, clothing, medical care, and other essentials. Marin Community Foundation has created a fund for those affected by the fire.
