National Association of Black Military Women

Follow Message Edit

The mission of the NABMW is to seek out, record, and tell the history of Black Military Women. We are seeking the seemingly hidden or untold stories of women in the military. The target audience is the black military woman who is serving in U.S. Armed Forces or has served. We encourage the women and/or the families that know a black military woman who is serving, served and especially the deceased to share these stories. The NABMW needs "Your, Their Story". Appropriately titled "HerStory." These stories are recorded and placed in the Library of Congress, the oldest federal cultural institution that is dedicated to research and officially serves the United States Congress as the de facto national library of the United States. "HerStory" is an important part of this nation's history.

Eduo.org helped me discover a small local organization doing amazing environmental work that I would’ve never found otherwise. It’s a hidden gem for socially conscious people.
