We had a visit from The Farrier Group @benpollak today to trim hooves and tusks on the "little" pigs. We could not be any happier with them. They are professional, quick, caring, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and funny. As you can imagine, we were stressed out for this appointment, but the pigs did great and calmed down quickly. You can see, some really needed their tusks trimmed, and our older guy Eugene even had 2 very loose teeth that were removed. We are thrilled to become one of their regular customers. (fb)

"A thing of beauty is a joy forever" - John Keats.  This week, we had to say goodbye to Beauty. She came to us 7 years ago from a rescue that had to close. Her estimated age was 10 + years old. We were honored to let her live out her full life with comfort and love and die in peace. We will miss her. (fb)
