City Surf Project connects Bay Area youth to the ocean and themselves through surfing. Our Mission is to connect underrepresented youth to the ocean and themselves through surfing. We use surfing as a vehicle to teach a respect for nature, healthy lifestyle and personal growth.

City Surf Project Ten Years of Ensuring Equitable Access to the Ocean and Surfing. Since our inception we have introduced over 3000 youth to surfing. Surfing engages youth with the natural world boosts selfconfidence and improves social and emotional learning skills and builds community. We focus on youth who have not historically been represented in surf culture to work towards diversifying the lineup.
