Little World Charity
To brighten lives of children (of all ages) in hospitals, special needs homes, and public libraries. We do this in twenty (and growing) locations by creating and installing whimsical, animated displays that kids activate by pushing a button. Locations include Duke, UNC, and UNC Rex children's hospitals, three Ronald McDonald Houses, and public libraries in Wake and Durham counties. We are 100% volunteer with 0% overhead. Every dollar goes to creating more displays. Our biggest need is funds to procure more professionally-made, safe outer cases. We recently added a new dimension of child involvement, by enlisting teachers to lead young students in making displays.
