The mission of Family Promise of Greater Roanoke is to empower homeless families with children to achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.

FAMILY PROMISE OF GREATER ROANOKE INC
Family Promise currently has 3 families staying in shelter with us. While a family is staying at the Family Promise of Greater Roanoke shelter, our case manager works closely with them to identify steps they need to take to reach the goal of stable housing. Some of those steps may include - looking at how they spend their money, interview skills, obtaining a job, finding childcare or creating a budget.
