It is also a directory of nearly 11,000 animal shelters and adoption organizations across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Organizations maintain their own home pages and pet data. We have a special love for Dalmatians, Shelties, and Chihuahuas but we also help other breeds as well as mutts and cats. We do our best to educate the public about pet overpopulation and responsible ownership that way each animal has the chance to be properly socialized and be given individual attention.
