OUR MISSION IS TO RAISE AWARENESS THROUGH COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS OF ANIMAL OVERPOPULATION, DISEASE CONTROL, AND PROVIDE RESOURCES FOR VETERINARY CARE IN ORDER TO HELP ABANDONED AND NEGLECTED ANIMALS IN KANSAS CITY AND IT'S SURROUNDING AREA.

Helping abandoned neglected and forgotten animals in Kansas City and surrounding areas. Our Impact In the last 12 months we have provided 10000 lbs of food to animals in need Hundreds of dog houses Hundreds of bales of straw 25000 in animal medical expenses 1000 outreach stops 7000 in trap neuter and release expenses Founded in 2014 The Rescue Project is a nonprofit 501c3 rescue. We are the only 100 volunteerrun and fosterbased rescue in the Kansas City area that focuses on community outreach a robust foster program Trap Neuter Release TNR of feral cat communities and offers community pet medical support to those in need.
