CTK Haywood, NC, Inc. exists to provide new and quality used clothing to low-income or in crisis school age children in Haywood County, NC, free of charge. OUR MISSION: To provide new and quality used clothing to those school-age young people designated by the school system of Haywood County as eligible - by income level and active participation in class. All clothes are free of charge. The Haywood County school system assists with the referrals and we adhere to their codes of dress for each school. OUR VISION: A community in which every school-age young person has quality clothing so that he or she may attend school with the confidence and self-esteem needed to achieve academic success. We help take away the stigma of bullying and teasing regarding appropriate school attire. Statistics show that children do better in school when they feel good about themselves and they feel that they 'fit in'.

We are rebuilding from Hurricane Helene Clothes to Kids of Haywood County is undertaking a significant rebuilding effort following the catastrophic flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. The initial three photos document the immediate aftermath of the flood capturing the devastation and the daunting task ahead.
