Themission of Community Employment is to establish opportunities for work trainingand job placement in integrated community businesses for people withsignificant life challenges associated with severe disabilities including: intellectualdisability/developmental disabilities/brain injuries, Autism SpectrumDisorder. Agency services are notcontingent upon any prerequisite skill level or developmental competency. Through employment, we believe that we enablepeople to realize their self-worth, experience self-achievement, and more fullyparticipate in the privileges of the community. We believe that every person should be afforded the opportunity to workat status-enhancing, culturally valued employment in which there areopportunities to demonstrate competency, become more self-supportive and enjoymutual dignity and respect of themselves, co-workers and neighbors.
