The Florida Chamber Orchestra was founded by Maestro Marlene Urbay in 1995 pursuing her dream to make classical music accessible to every person in the South Florida community. Its first performance was given in January 1996 in the city of Coral Gables. The mission of the Florida Chamber Orchestra is to unify and educate audiences of different cultural backgrounds and etnicity thru the universal language of music that trascend any boundaries
