Yesterday’s Class of 2025 graduation ceremony featured alumni speaker Angelina Szkotak, who began at Wilmington Montessori School as a toddler. She shared how the values of courage, compassion and curiosity first nurtured here have continued to guide her far beyond our walls. “WMS wasn’t just a school,” she said. “It became an extension of my home — a place where I learned what it means to be part of a community that believes in you.” Now a summa cum laude graduate of American University, Angelina is beginning work on her master’s degree in strategic communication. As Head of School Sarah Williams said: “Angelina is, in many ways, a living example of what WMS hopes for all of you — someone who knows herself well, uses her unique gifts wisely, and who continues to learn with curiosity and purpose.” Her words offered both inspiration and affirmation—for our graduates as they look ahead, and for the families and teachers who’ve supported them every step of the way. #wmsalumni #graduation #classof2025 #wmsclassof2025 #montessori (fb)

Today we honored the WMS Class of 2025 with a graduation ceremony filled with reflection, gratitude and celebration. The event featured thoughtful speeches from Head of School Sarah Williams, alumni speaker Angelina Szkotak, Middle School teacher Emma Mulrine, our seventh-graders, and of course, our graduates. Kindergarten through seventh-grade students also took the stage to perform our school song — a fitting tribute to the strength of our community. From Keira, who began her WMS experience as a toddler, to Leo in first grade, and Eli and Felix in sixth, each graduate has contributed something meaningful to our school. We’re proud of the individuals they’ve become and look forward to seeing where they go next.
