Updates on the Glassner Autumn Challenge Challenge100 mile bicycle tour. Long distance, self-managed bicycle riding. You follow a route and check in at control points but it is not a race. More like an endurance event. The Montgomery Bicycle Club (MBC) promotes recreational and competitive cycling in the central Alabama area, and seeks to increase bicycle safety and awareness by advocating bicycle-friendly transportation policies in the area. In particular, MBC supports the work of the Montgomery Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). The MPO study area includes portions of Autauga, Elmore and Montgomery Counties including the municipalities of Coosada, Deatsville, Elmore, Millbrook, Montgomery, Prattville, Pike Road, and Wetumpka. ​We are not anti-motorist (most of us are motorists ourselves); we are pro-bicycle, for equitable laws and safer access to roadways.
