It's a beautiful day for saving lives! A heartfelt THANK YOU goes to the Good Samaritans and Volunteers that scooped these sweet souls up off the streets of their villages and coordinated with us to send on @bering.air to the Good Place (@RAAR - Rural Alaska Animal Resources) in Nome! Each one has such a unique story and they've stolen our hearts. Like, share, comment, and/or donate - each little bit counts! As sweet as can be, Daisy, Einza, & Zweiza made the big flight to Anchorage on Northern Air Cargo this morning. They have been a pleasure for volunteers to care for, and their lives will only continue to get better from here. They will be available for adoption through our heroes at The August Fund & Best Friends Animal Rescue - Quyannakpuk to all the fosters opening up their hearts and homes to these needy animals! (fb)

Happy Memorial Day! We spent the day celebrating with some well-deserved mental/physical health breaks with the rescues and the #raarpals! Here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come at the Community Bark Park being developed on Center Creek Road. A HUGE shoutout to some pretty great local high school seniors and/or recently-graduated Nome-Beltz High School graduates! They volunteered their time and a whole lot of effort moving fence panels for the play park at The Good Place - even with just this amount placed, it has made a world of difference for the doggos and brought such joy to their days! #gottasaveemall #pawsofnome (fb)
