Mission: The purpose of the Indigenous Forest Research Organization for Global Sustainability, Inc. (i.F.r.o.g.s.) is to work with local stakeholders to promote sustainable stewardship of natural habitats. Activities involve training to survey and monitor biodiversity and publishing to reach a diverse audience. Vision: Our team works to protect and restore forest habitats and its native peoples. In Madagascar, indigenous people help our team to conduct research and apply conservation solutions (e.g., native tree nurseries for reforestation, installing lemur-houses) to increase population sizes of threatened forest animals such as critically endangered lemurs. As resources increase, efforts will be expanded to other biodiversity hotspots.
