🌅🎓 Senior Sunset was a beautiful sendoff for the Class of 2025 today. This cherished Valor tradition takes place annually the Friday before graduation, bookending the year that began with Senior Sunrise. True to our whole-child focus, the evening is filled with teacher-nominated awards that honor every aspect of our students - their character, leadership, intellect, creativity, and more. Tonight, we introduced a very special new award — the Robert Bruce Dickson Award — named in memory of the father of our co-founders, Todd and Daren Dickson. The award was presented to two students who exemplify Mr. Dickson’s defining qualities of loyalty, resilience, and quiet strength. We were proud to present the inaugural award to Amy Sandoval and Samuel Lester, who have not always sought the spotlight, but have shown consistent presence, leadership, and dedication, thereby making a profound impact on our school community. Thank you to the caregivers, teachers, staff, and so many others who made tonight so special and have supported the Class of 2025 along the way.
