Community Rowing in the Nations Capital Capital Rowing Club, a non-profit organization run solely by volunteers, is the largest community-based rowing organization in Washington, DC, and the leader in bringing recreational activities to the Anacostia River. Working to diversify Washington's rowing community, CRC offers programs to anyone who wants to row. CRC's novice programs teach new rowers, our intermediate programs help rowers hone their skills, and our competitive programs boast national recognition. Capital brings recreational opportunities to all ages, from junior- and senior-high students whose schools cannot afford rowing equipment to senior rowers whose ages average 64 years.

Community Rowing in the Nations Capital Capital Rowing Club is committed to bringing rowing opportunities and excellence in rowing to the diverse community of the Anacostia River and the larger Washington DC area. We are a volunteerdirected nonprofit educational organization offering rowing programs for people of all ages income and levels of physical ability. Capital Rowing Club is a proud member of the Anacostia Community Boathouse Association. Row With Us Adaptive Capital Adaptive Rowing Program CARP includes rowers with a wide variety of disabilities from spinal cord injury to lower extremity amputation to degenerative diseases and visual impairment.
