Our mission is to collect, refurbish, & distribute wheelchairs, walkers, & other Durable Medical Equipment to those in need. #Devices4theDisabled Devices 4 the Disabled empowers people with disabilities to thrive with mobility, independence, freedom, and dignity by collecting, refurbishing, and distributing medical equipment at no cost. Devices 4 the Disabled’s (D4D) mission is to give people with disabilities the tools they need to live their lives. Our service model is straightforward: we pick up used durable medical equipment (DME), refurbish it, and distribute it at no cost to the poor and working poor who lack insurance and the financial resources to obtain the equipment they need. Without proper DME, these individuals are imprisoned in their environment with no ability to live independent, healthy lives. D4D embodies the four tenets our organization was founded on: MOBILITY INDEPENDENCE FREEDOM DIGNITY
