Hand Up Group Inc

The mission of the Hand Up Group is to give individuals and families in our community a hand up during difficult times. Our primary focus lies in operating a transitional living house that can house up to 4 unique families at a time. Families who have found themselves homeless due to eviction, loss of a job, a house burning down, etc. can stay with us free of charge for up to 3 months until they are financially stable and can move on to the next step in their lives. We provide counseling, food assistance, money management and goal management assistance/teaching, and a friendly, stable, safe place to lay their heads each night. We work with people to help them find jobs, find apartments, find childcare or any other needs.We are simply trying to fill in the gap in our community where people who have no place to go can find temporary relief.
