THE MISSION OF THE MAKAYLA FUND IS TO HELP EDUCATE TEENS AND THEIR PARENTS TO ASSIST IN PREVENTING TEEN SUICIDE IN MAKAYLA'S MEMORY THROUGH PUBLIC AWARENESS, EDUCATION. REDUCE STIGMA, AND SERVE AS A RESOURCE FOR THOSE TOUCHED BY SUICIDE. THE MAKAYLA FUND ALSO STRIVED TO IMPROVE THE LIFE OF LOCAL TEENS WITH A HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM BY GIVING THE NECESSARY FUNDS TO PLAY A SPORT IF ONE CANNOT AFFORD IT TO HELP TAKE ADDED PRESSURE OFF FAMILIES.

The Makayla Fund The Makayla Fund Suicide awareness Prevention High school sports scholarships THE MAKAYLA FUND The Makayla Fund was started after Makayla Guerriero died by suicide. We now have a nonprofit for Teen Suicide Awareness and High School Sports Scholarships. The mission of the Makayla Fund is to help educate teens and their parents to assist in preventing teen suicide in Makaylas memory through public awareness and education reduce the stigma and serve as a resource for those touched by suicide in the entire Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We also want to help improve the life of local teens with our high school sports scholarship program by giving the necessary funds to play a sport even if one can not afford it.
