Serving the Americas Foundation

We're an international nonprofit building networks across the Americas by mobilizing international fellows to lead social projects with vulnerable communities. America Solidaria U.S. is the Washington, D.C.-based branch of an international service nonprofit dedicated to overcoming child poverty in the Americas Serving the Americas | America Solidaria U.S. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that mobilizes volunteers to lead capacity-building projects to ensure that all children have what they need to grow, learn, and thrive throughout the Americas. Founded in Santiago, Chile in 2002, America Solidaria has developed more than 234 projects involving over 800 professional volunteers at over one hundred non-profit organizations in 13 countries. We benefit the most vulnerable communities in the Americas and build capacity among our partner organizations. Furthermore, we provide valuable experience to future global leaders, empowering our volunteers to address hemispheric development issues, to improve governance within civil society, and to strengthen bonds.
