Southeastern Wind Coalition Advancing Wind Energy in the Southeast News For the last three years Aikido Technologies has developed a floating wind platform with the support of the Fellows Program by Breakthrough Energy. The program aims to accelerate earlystage climate innovation to help the world reach netzero emissions by 2050. The proximity of Southeastern states to the warm water of the Gulf Stream especially off of North Carolina creates a highly energetic microclimate with optimal wind speeds for commercialscale offshore wind development.
