After three days of laughter, reflection, and adventure, our full time staff in Uganda returned from their annual retreat refreshed and more united than ever. From the stunning Busowoko Falls to water cycling at Misoli Beach and meals shared under the sun, this getaway was a small way to honor the big work they do every day for our survivors. Rest is not a reward—it’s an essential part of sustaining the deep, often heavy work we do. When we pause to reset and reconnect, we’re not stepping away from the mission—we’re strengthening our ability to carry it forward with compassion, energy, and clarity. ❤️ This week, in honor of Mother’s Day, we had the honor of reaching 94 women, teens, and expectant mothers in Kidera with care packages filled with food, feminine products, and a powerful education class on sewing reusable sanitary pads. One woman said: “Indeed you were to us the feet and hands of Jesus. We were blessed by your organization.
