Marden's Ark Avian Refuge is a 501(c)(3) companion parrot rescue/sanctuary. We focus on education and outreach to help improve the lives of captive parrots. We accomplish this by offering care, shelter and sanctuary to displaced birds, networking with other groups and organizations to help other animals, assisting families who live with companion animals, who are experiencing difficulties, working with other organizations to improve quality of care in rescues, educating the public on living with companion birds and other aad their unique and complex needs, and continually advocating for raising standards of care for all companion animals.
