St Joseph Community Land Trust
St. Joseph Community Land Trust is an independent 501c3 non-profit membership organization founded in 2002 in response to Lake Tahoe's severe housing crisis and the negative impacts the lack of affordable housing has on the broad social fabric, well-being, and sustainability of communities around Lake Tahoe. St. Joseph C.L.T.'s mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals and families who cannot otherwise afford housing by acquiring or building real estate and developing programs to benefit communities in the Lake Tahoe Basin. SJCLT features programs that provide permanently affordable rental and ownership homes as well as supportive and educational programs to Lake Tahoe Basin Residents.
