Get involved The hia Legacy Initiative plants hia lehua Metrosideros polymorpha trees in urban areas of Hawaii to expand this vital natural and cultural resource. By making a donation or becoming a partner you can help to increase the health of our aquifers expand cultural resources prevent erosion and create habitat for native Hawaiian birds such as the apapane iiwi and amakihi. All support goes directly to helping us grow more hia trees.
