We’ve added Angel Ramirez (@angelvramirez) to our adult faculty and his class starts TONIGHT with Beginner Contemporary from 6:15-7:30pm 🌀✨ More about him: Angel Ramirez is a choreographer and dancer from El Salvador. His dance physicality and movement are shaped by the prestigious City Dance Conservatory in Bethesda MD, where he had training by Lorraine Spieler, Stanislav Issaev, Robert Prior, Keith Thomas, and others. In May of 2023, he earned a diploma as aprofessional choreographer from the ICONS Choreographic Dance Institute at ATLAS in Washington, DC. Angel has had the privilege of performing with some of the most renowned dance companies, including Bruce Wood Dance, Koresh Dance, YY Dance, and Alex Neoral’s Focus Cia de Dança Company.With a deep passion for dance and choreography, Angel continues to inspire the local dance community. He has set pieces at the coveted Kennedy Center,Strathmore Arts Center, Atlas Performing Arts Center, and has worked with several local dance studios in the DMV. (fb)

This fun and vibrant contemporary performance features three original works choreographed by the Collective’s co-founders Sarah Coady, Faith Rokowski, and Meghan Letizia. Effervescence will take you on a journey with their 30 local dancers in an unforgettable experience of harmonious mayhem! Shows are Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2! (fb)
