Rainbow Pack

Overview
Rainbow Pack is a nonprofit organization focused on providing essential school supplies to elementary school students, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded in 2011 by Riley Gantt when she was just ten years old, the organization aims to ensure that every child has access to the tools necessary for academic success.

History
The inception of Rainbow Pack came after a school visit where Gantt learned about the challenges faced by children in low-income neighborhoods. Inspired by a young girl's wish for basic school supplies, Gantt initiated Rainbow Pack to create a positive impact in her community. The organization's motto, “Supplying Equal Education for All,” encapsulates its mission to lessen educational disparities caused by economic limitations.

Programs and Activities
Since its establishment, Rainbow Pack has distributed over 9,500 backpacks filled with essential school supplies in the Los Angeles area. These backpacks are specifically designed to cater to the needs of students from Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade, ensuring that children have the academic tools necessary to thrive.
