Veterans United Foundation was created by Veterans United employees in 2011. Our first ever donation went to Welcome Home, a local emergency shelter for Veterans experiencing homelessness. Since then, VU employees have continued to contribute their time and energy, from volunteering to upkeep the grounds to serving up meals to helping Veterans move. Over the years, the Foundation has given more than $1.5 million to Welcome Home. And in 2014, Veterans United also gave an additional $1 million for a new shelter. We are proud of the strong partnership we have built together.
