• Public Policy Advocacy: Through its Washington office, CMDA engages in public policy issues related to healthcare, conscience rights, human trafficking, and other ethical concerns.

Membership and Structure

As of recent updates, CMDA has a membership of over 13,000 healthcare professionals. However, some sources indicate the membership could be as high as 19,000. The organization is a 501(c)(3) entity governed by a Board of Trustees and a House of Delegates.

Governance and Leadership

The Board of Trustees sets policies and guidelines for the organization, while the House of Delegates assists with recommendations on courses of action. Dr. Mike Chupp currently serves as the CEO.

International Affiliation

CMDA is affiliated with the International Christian Medical and Dental Association, linking it to a global network of Christian healthcare professionals.
