For 26 years, Frank Fritz has been a guiding light at Tampa General Hospital. Through his work in the Emergency Department, Frank cared for countless patients, mentored new team members, and led with compassion, humility and grace. He is the kind of nurse who not only treats injuries, but also brings comfort, calm and kindness in the moments that matter most. Now, as Frank enters hospice care, we have a chance to honor the incredible legacy he has built. The Frank Fritz Legacy Trauma/ED Team Member Endowed Scholarship has been created to support emergency and trauma team members at TGH who are pursuing the next step in their careers. It serves as a special reflection of Frank’s own passion for education and his belief in lifting others up.
