Langdon, ND – April 7, 2025 – Langdon Prairie Health is proud to announce that Dr. Brenna Swanson, Registered Dietician and valued member of the LPH care team, has been awarded the Distinguished Academic Teaching Award by the University of North Dakota’s College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD). The CNPD Distinguished Teaching Award recognizes outstanding educators who demonstrate excellence in teaching through innovative and engaging instructional methods that lead to high-quality student learning outcomes. Dr. Swanson, who teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Nutrition and Dietetics at UND, was selected for her exceptional contributions to curriculum development and her intentional approach to education. Her work has helped students connect theoretical knowledge to real-world applications, preparing them for success in clinical and community nutrition roles. “Dr. Swanson’s passion for teaching and her dedication to advancing the field of nutrition are evident in everything she does,” said R.
