DBA Main IDEA is a nonprofit youth and arts organization whose mission is to empower youth by providing quality accessible arts programs to underresourced communities. Main IDEA has provided yearround arts programming free of cost to youth in Worcester ages 618 since 2011 with priority given to residents of the Main South neighborhood. These arts programs focus on empowerment intrinsic motivation wellbeing and include visual art dance culinary art music drama and creative writing while facilitating positive peer relationships between community artistsvolunteers and neighborhood youth.
