The mission of the Patton Veterans Project is to: Use collaborative filmmaking as a therapeutic pathway for veterans coping with posttraumatic and other service-related stress to validate their service accomplishments, reduce social isolation Our mission is to help veterans coping with posttraumatic stress reduce social isolation and strengthen family, community, and professional bonds. We accomplish this mission through intensive filmmaking workshops enabling participants to collaborate with peers to process their service experiences. We also incorporate screening events that validate veterans’ experiences, advance community dialogue and educate the public about the mental health challenges facing veterans and military families.

PATTON VETERANS PROJECT INC
The Patton Veterans Project (PVP) is hosting a community-wide screening to premiere short films created by area veterans at its vet film workshop last month at Veterans Navigation Network. At the workshops, servicemen and women work together to make short films about meaningful service experiences. The free screening, which is open to all, will be followed by a meet-and-greet reception for the filmmakers and guests.
