Last week, Yolanda and Hannah traveled to Louisville for the National Christian Conference on Sexual Exploitation. The three days were filled with worship, prayer, powerful testimonies, learning, and really sweet connections. They had the opportunity to link arms with leaders from across the nation who are also in the fight to end sexual exploitation. This work is heavy. It is sacred and often exhausting, but being surrounded by people who truly understand the weight of it felt like the Lord was wrapping us up. Each morning began with 45 minutes of worship, creating space for the Spirit to move and prepare hearts for the day ahead. There is nothing like praising the One who created us, called us, and sustains us. We’re walking away reminded that we are not alone. Take a peek at our week. Over the last several months, our property manager, Ken, and other contractors have been hard at work renovating what was once our garage into a brand-new rec. room—a space designed just for our girls to have fun, relax, and experience the childhood they each deserve. Here’s what we’ve added so far: 🎮 Entertainment area – A snuggly couch, cozy chairs, a TV, and a Wii for movie nights and gaming with one another. 🏓 Ping Pong Table – It’s not quite put together yet, but we know the girls will love it! 🧩 Board Game & Puzzle Station – A space for games and laughter. 🎨 Chalkboard Wall – A place where the girls can express their creativity with various of chalk markers. But that’s not all! Next month, an artist will be painting a mural on the main wall—one that will beautifully represent Hannah’s House and everything it represents. We can’t wait to share it with you once it’s finished! A huge thank you to the 153rd General Assembly for investing in the future of Hannah’s House.
