🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we honor those who gave their lives in service and recognize the challenges many veterans face when they return home. Across Minnesota, Habitat for Humanity offices are helping meet one of those challenges: housing. Veterans are more likely to live with a disability, 35% compared to 28% of older civilians, which often means they need accessible, affordable homes. Local Habitats are building and repairing homes to meet these needs, from adding ramps to completing critical repairs. Some local Habitat offices even have veteran specific build programs that help veterans live safely and with dignity. This Memorial Day, we invite you to honor veterans not just in memory, but through meaningful action.
