Gold Award Girl Scout Katherine created and led a special event for people with dementia and their caregivers, using art to spark connection and community. 🎨✨ With support from the NC Museum of Art, participants engaged in a guided painting activity and received helpful resources from the Alzheimer’s Association and local senior centers. 🖌️ Each pair also took home a craft kit—and Katherine made sure more were shared with support groups and libraries to keep the creativity going.
