Earlier this month we got to work with Urban Community Montessori on a series of sessions doing our QUARK program. Our QUilting Activity Resource Kit, is a program we developed and teaches the fundamentals of math through the principles of art. The kit's modality is hand-sewing, which focuses the mind and reinforces hand-eye coordination in young people. We enjoy being able to bring this to our communities young people. This series of workshops were made possible by a grant from ASCA (Alabama State Council on the Arts).
