Art Heritage of the American West George Phippen CA Permanent Exhibits Artistic Legacy Play Video Remembering Gretchen Lopez Since we opened our doors in 1984 the Phippen Museum been continually blessed to have the interactive support of dedicated volunteers sponsors and artists. But every once in a while an inspirational individual comes along that changes our hearts and endears themselves to our museum family in a way that is deeply moving and profound. And for many years now artist Gretchen Lopez has been one of those inspiring personalities. So we were all especially heartbroken to learn of her recent passing on Saturday January 11th 2025.
